Abstract Algebra_6 Matrix

There are groups of groups,

There are matrices under addition

And matrices under multiplication, these matrices have to be n x n shape

If satisfying the above conditions we call it general linear group

If the group has the determinant =1, it’s a special linear group called SLn(R).

Note the entries of matrices are not limited to real numbers, it could be complex numbers or could be fields.
