What Can AI Be Used For Now?

In this phase of rapid expansion, where regulatory oversight is limited, various opportunities are emerging. Amidst this landscape, the question arises: what specific roles can AI fulfill?

Primarily, the focus lies on the downstream aspects of LLM, in which arena industry behemoths engage in fierce competition. Concurrently, this downstream environment offers a fertile ground for startups to enter the fray across diverse application domains.

For example, Vext is a SaaS platform that offers a highly productized LLM pipeline builder that offers prompt executionlogging and testing, and RAG (vector DB). Our offering covers these categories to provide a more streamlined experience, minimizing customization and reduce the weight of your LLMOps stack.

First of all, a really good chatting bot is what most business would like to achieve. Then

Another example is Invideo AI, it is a platform that offers an AI-powered video generator1. Here’s a summary of its key features:

AI Video Generation: You can generate videos just by providing text inputs1. The AI video generator simplifies the process by automatically generating the script and adding video clips, subtitles, background music, and transitions.
Editing with Text Prompts: You can make changes and edit your video by typing in a prompt box, similar to how you would instruct a human video editor.
AI-Powered Scripts: Invedio’s AI YouTube script generator creates engaging, tailored scripts for any video topic, saving hours of valuable time.
Voiceover Generator: Invedio’s voiceover generator brings your videos to life by grasping the emotion behind every word, adding human-sounding AI speech in a wide range of languages.

These features make it easy for content creators, YouTubers, and marketers to turn their ideas into publish-ready videos. It’s designed to save time and take the hassle out of video creation. However, with Sora announced by openAI, it’s not clear what the future of Invedio AI look like.

Of course, there are a lot more applications if you ask chatGPT.

These concepts are widely recognized or commonplace, accessing resources to achieve it is not easy. Despite numerous startups operating in this space, they face the risk of being suddenly crushed by industry giants like OpenAI or Google, as discussed by the CEO of Vext.

On the other hand, there is a plethora of AI freelancers and service providers available. I conducted research on platforms like Fiverr to explore this aspect.

AI Development: This includes building and integrating AI engines into applications, with services like website and app development using artificial intelligence1.
AI Applications: Services here focus on creating specific AI-powered applications, such as chatbots, content generators, and SaaS platforms.
Consulting: Professionals offer consulting services to enhance businesses with AI strategies and integration plans.
Custom AI Solutions: Sellers provide custom development of AI models for different purposes, including OCR, text classification, and more2.

So we should reach out to these fiverers and hand them projects to work together. Especially the biggest challenge I think is the “trustability”, i.e. it’s hard to trust some platform like openAI, let alone much smaller start-ups or a freelancer to obtain your data/APIs and work on it. I believe collection of thoughts/solutions are far better than individual’s. So maybe there is already a solution this trustability issue.

In my current domain, I envision that with the integration of AI-driven enhancements, I could potentially streamline inventory maintenance entirely on my own. This would necessitate only one additional hire to oversee quality control.

Furthermore, with the necessary OAuth credentials set in place, our technological capabilities could be significantly expanded. By developing APIs to interface with ChatGPT, I could issue natural language instructions without the need for extensive coding, thanks to the comprehensive information contained in the API schema.

Additionally, I contemplate the possibility of leveraging AI-generated content to regularly produce news and innovative ideas, which could bolster our business’s reputation and attract new leads.

Looking beyond my immediate sphere, I am convinced that businesses of all sizes must urgently prioritize AI integration to avoid falling behind in the rapidly evolving landscape. Currently, while robotics has made strides, it has not reached the level of sophistication seen in virtual conversational AI. However, advancements in virtual conversational AI are imminent. Once fully realized, this technology has the potential to revolutionize various domains such as medicine and finance. Unfortunately, this integration has yet to occur, and progress in industries beyond IT remains sluggish.
