MCP protocol provides a possibility to connect massive amount of API functionalities. It could behave like apps in app store and could be big thing next!

So I’d like to dig into 1. browse existing, interesting MCP servers an use them; 2. create a simple MCP server myself; 3. think and make a unique service we provide and package into MCP server to sell.

Starting from number 2&3, it’s not difficult to create a server, basially it’s an app or app API, what matters is what kind of products and services that is beneficial and valuable?

1. browse existing, interesting MCP servers and use them: there are github, slack, weather, compute BMI etc. quite a lot of blogs, youtubes are released introducing them. it’s necessary to try installing one myself.

Windsurf recently have the MCP server discoverability feature in advanced setting. however, I need to install node.js to proceed.
