Methodical in Research and Work

It is essential to approach tasks methodically; however, I often rush into completing research or serious work. I find myself wasting considerable time attempting to rectify mistakes, especially with the assistance of AI tools. This tendency leads to a more challenging outcome, as I become trapped in a vicious cycle repeatedly. Even when I manage to break free, the process remains time-consuming and lacks thoroughness, leaving me uncertain about any underlying issues. This is not the outcome I desire; I seek to feel confident in my solutions and understanding of the subject matter.

Therefore, I must consistently adhere to the following rules:

  • 1. Conduct thorough reading and research on the project, topic, or subject;
  • 2. Begin with a very simple toy example to test ramifications;
  • 3. Gradually scale up;
  • 4. Apply to real production cases.

Additionally, I must document every discovery diligently, as I cannot rely on memory or temporary notes; methodical documentation, version control, and backup storage are vital for future reference and recovery.
